Amazon Nears $13 Billion in Prime Day Sales
Amazon grew worldwide sales 6.7% to $12.9 billion during the two-day summer sale it created nearly a decade ago. In the U.S., ecommerce sales grew 6.1% during the same period. Amazon is No. 3 in Digital Commerce 360’s new 2023 Global Online Marketplaces Report. That’s up 6.7% year over year from the same shopping spree in 2022, which ran July 12 and 13.
