Listen up. Throughout Michael’s 10+ years in the digital space, he’s done a lot of listening … from brand challenges to customer feedback.
As our digital practice lead, Michael sorts out the signals from the noise, to build repeatable results-driven media campaigns.

My favorite travel destination is anywhere that includes a beach and warm weather.
I love working on multiple clients instead of concentrating only on one like most agencies do. It keeps me polished and helps me apply key learnings (good and bad) to other campaigns.
I live and breathe Twitter and Pinterest. I haven’t had a Facebook since I was 18.
All my hobbies are plants. Taking care of my plants, buying new plants, researching how to keep my plants happy. I have 15 plants at home and 5 in the office.

My favorite social media platform would have to be Instagram. I love taking pictures and uploading them to my feed, it allows me to express myself.

The people are a given, so I’m going to say the variety. I’ve worked on all kinds of accounts and that experience has provided an invaluable boot camp style training.
Twitter. I’m too old for Snapchat or TikTok, but Twitter is manageable. I’ve got a nice bubble there.
I like comics, reading and writing them. It’s a fun medium that’s a lot more than just super heroes. I also collect enamel pins and wear a different one on my jacket each day. Follow along at @jamesfergupin on Instagram.
My favorite part of working at Active is the collaborative effort that we all make to help our clients ever-changing needs each day.
My favorite social media platform is Twitter, I love having access to a constantly updating news feed for entertainment, sports and world news. A close 2nd would be TikTok.
Before working at Active, I worked in the radio industry as an on-air talent here in New York and in Florida.

I used to be a news reporter for a show called Teen News Now back in 2007.
