Involved Connected Audience Spring 2025 Report: Connected Gaming

We’re back – this time, with a brand-new report on Connected Gaming.

Key findings from this portion of the study on Connected Gaming breaks down gaming habits by device, engagement across game types, and even how to map the gamer purchase journey.

Highlights from the Connected Gaming Study

      • 2 out of 3 respondents report playing a game on at least one of their devices in the last 30 days.
        • 84% of respondents report ever having played games on any of their device(s).
      • Smartphone gaming is the most popular type of gaming by far, with over half of respondents reporting the behavior in the last 30 days.
        • 63% of which play daily, and nearly half of daily players are playing 4 hours or more.
      • Prime Time is the most popular time for all gaming, but especially console gamers with 72% of them playing during this block, nearly 2 times as much as any other daypart.
        • Compare this to Mobile gaming, where people are only around 20% more likely to play during prime time than daytime2/3 of respondents reported playing a game on at least one of their devices in the last 30 days.
