Streaming Service Viewership
- 98% of our recent Connected Audiences survey respondents confirmed they stream video content.
Viewership in the Last 30 Days
- Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD): 86% of respondents reported watching an SVOD
- 69% watched an SVOD with Ads.
- User-Generated Content (U-Gen): 70% of respondents watch long form user generated video.
- 58% watched long-form user generated with ads.
- Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST): Over half of the respondents (54%), have watched FAST channels.
Top Reason for Trying a New Platform
- 27% of respondents said their top reason for trying a new platform was because it was recommended by a family/friend.
- 25% of respondents had a specific show/event they wanted to watch, while 20% of respondents saying a new show or movies they wanted to watch.
Platform Started Using Most Recently
Peacock should be high alert for churn!
- 76% of respondents started using Peacock in the last 3 months compared to 60% of respondents who started using Netflix.
